When I look at the current state of media madness to what has been labeled fake media, it takes me back over 2,000 years in history to the original information battle that was waged between the Catholic Church and the various Gnostics sects of the day. The Church are who we can call the first leaders of a global mainstream media, and the Gnostics would be the true originators of alternative media. (more…)

1. Stop worrying
The popular idea that a worrier is a thoughtful and conscientious citizen is false. The Egyptians realized this when they included worry among the cardinal sins. Do not confuse thoughtfulness and worry. The thoughtful person plans solutions, but the worrier merely dissolves in his own doubt. If you think straight, you will have less cause for worrying. The worrier not only suffers the same disaster many times, but undermines his health and annoys all others with whom he comes into contact. The quote below is from a college professor, Ioan Culianu who was murdered for his words, political views, and criticism of the 
Romanian government. Culianu was a Romanian living in exile in the U.S. where he taught a class on Gnosticism, the study of secret mystic sects at the University of Chicago Divinity School. The same school where he was shot in the head as he went to the restroom in a hit style murder that some say was typical KGB fashion.
