A spiritual battle has been fought on the earth and in the heavens for thousands of years. Many of us angels, good and bad who are living today, are born ignorant of this fierce war for our souls. Some of us will lose by default from our simple lack of knowledge, thus becoming ignorant tools used as spiritual weapons by either side. Other people will bare the sins of their parents and ancestors who had fallen like Lucifer, as they try to right the wrongs in order to ascend to the light.
To understand this cosmic war, you must first try to comprehend the occult (hidden) nature and esoteric (secret) doctrines that govern it. Part of this understanding comes from knowledge of who you are, who your ancestors were, and the hierarchy of angels that hold government on the AS ABOVE, who thus direct the affairs of humans on the SO BELOW.
THE BURNING SERPENT ANGELS OF FIRE WHO GOVERN THE WORLD
Some of these angels on high who govern on low here on earth are known biblically as the “Seraphs or the Seraphim”. They are six-winged beings that fly around the Throne of God crying “holy, holy, holy.” The seraphs hold 5th rank of ten in the Jewish angelic hierarchy and the highest rank in the Christian angelic hierarchy of angels that govern this current world. The various spellings of the Hebrew name Seraphs are the Greek Hellenized version of the Egyptian Osiris-Apis which is spelled Serapis, Sarapis (Σάραπις, Dorian Greek), Sor-apis (Σέραπις, Attic/Ionian Greek), Serapin (Greek Ὄφις), and the name ‘Seraphim’ being the plural form.
These names all have similar meanings such as “the burning ones, burning spirits, fiery angels or burning angels.” The meaning of the name Seraph is also synonymous, with serpent and seraphim being the plural for serpents. They are the serpents who bit the children of Israel in the wilderness. Doctors and Scholars of the Jewish Church such as Rabbi Bechai had said this about the serpent who tempts Eve in Genesis (Gen. iii. 14); “This is the secret (or mystery) of the holy language, that a serpent is called saraph, as an angel is called saraph;” and ” hence the Scriptures called serpents seraphim (Numb. xxi. 6—8), because they were the offspring of this old saraph.”
These burning angels who are also known as serpents, are also mentioned as celestial beings in the Book of Enoch and the Book of Revelation. They are the fiery angels burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God as spoken of in Revelation 4:5 – “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”
In the Old Testament, the Prince of the Seraphim is named Beelzebub, and who holds office just below Lucifer who is King. In the New Testament and the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Archangel St Michael is placed over all the Angels as Prince of the Seraphim. But Christ is the head of all principalities and powers. (Col. ii. 10.)
The Greek historian Diodorus Siculus had said that Serapis is not only the same as the Egyptian Osiris, and Hammon, but also the same as the Greek Dionysus, Jupiter, Pan, and Pluto. Plutarch had said the earlier Serapis was none other than Osiris himself. (Plut.,de Sid., c. 28.). He also informs us that it was the Greco-Egyptain Pharoah, Ptolemy I who had introduced Serapis, or serpent worship from Sinope in Asia Minor to the East. It was at this time when Serapis had taken the place of all the Gods as the supreme deity during reign of the Ptolemy Pharaohs. Ptolemy I was the ruler of Egypt from 323–283 BC and he was also the founder of both the Ptolemaic Kingdom, and the Ptolemaic Dynasty. In the year 305 BC he took the title of pharaoh.
Ptolemy I was also known as Ptolemy Soter. The meaning of the name Soter is savior. Hence, Ptolemy I was known as the Soter or savior of the East. Later during the reign of the Romans, and shortly after the death of Julius Caesar who was known in Rome as a God, his son Octavian Caesar would take the venerable name of Augustus to become their savior with his official anointing as both Pontifex Maximus and savior under PAX RAMONA. Thus becoming the first Vicar of Christ, cornerstone of the Catholic Church, and Christened as their savior of this new age under the New Testament (New Law). A moment in time, officially ending the reign of the Greco-Egyptian Ptolemaic empire, their Egyptian calendar, and the old Testament (Old Law). The meaning of the name Christ simple means anointed, and is the equivalent of the Hebrew word Messiah.
Manes was the founder of the Gnostic religion of the 3rd-4th centuries A.D., known as Manichaeism. He had taught his followers serpent worship under the name of early Christianity. He had said; ” Christ was an incarnation of the Great Serpent, who glided over the cradle of the Virgin Mary, when she was asleep, at the age of a year and a half.”
The Seraphim are the intellectual angels with a divine consciousness, who are burning up of self-awareness that accompanies deep spiritual comprehension of divine reality. Some of these angels include Saint Michael, Gabriel, and St. Francis who was the founder of the Cordeliers and the Franciscans. He was known as the Seraphic Father and Seraphic Saint, for he was on fire for the Lord. In 1224, St. Francis had received the stigmata, making him the first recorded person to bear the wounds of Christ’s Passion. A companion of Francis, Brother Leo had left us the first definite account of the phenomenon of stigmata.”Suddenly he saw a vision of a seraph, a six-winged angel on a cross. This angel gave him the gift of the five wounds of Christ.”
The 15th century Italian medieval scholastic theologian and philosopher, St. Bonaventure is called the Seraphic Doctor for his love and zeal of St Francis. Our current Pope had taken his name after the Seraphic Saint Francis, and his actions as the Vicar of Christ prove his fiery zeal for the Lord. In the year since he has become Pontifex Maximus, he has more than lived up to his chosen name.
With the symbol of Jesus, St Mark informs us, “With the form of a serpent, He kills the serpent, for the serpent made out of the rod swallowed up the other serpents.” Hence, “The power of the serpent of Egypt was broken on the cross.” – Justin Martyr
An angel brought supernatural food to Elijah. 1 Kings xix. 5.
Angels in the form of fiery horses and chariots attended Elijah at his ascension. 2 Kings ii. 11.
Angels as fiery horses and chariots encamped around Elisha in the mount. 2 Kings vi. 17.
Isaiah had a vision of the Seraphim. Isa. vi. 2.
Ezekiel had a vision of the Cherubim. Ezek. x. 3.
An angel was the agent of deliverance to the three holy children in the burning fiery furnace. Dan. iii. 28.
The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire. – Isaiah 4:4
Saint Paul in Corinthians had said; “Satan is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Cor. xi. 14)

Today we are seeing the merger of science and the bible, but the facts are most scientists, and men of the cloth may fail to see the signs of this Apocalyptic event. Many people will think that these scientific revelations of the bible could be called blasphemy. Some will ignorantly think that this is something straight out of a Dan Brown novel, and I’m some bad guy in the Illuminati trying to enlighten unworthy humans. But the facts are, that this is no novel or Illuminati conspiracy.
In reality, this time in which we live is called the Apocalypse. A word that simply means”the unveiling,”and this event is exactly what Saint John had spoken about in the Book of Revelation. French Occultist, Gnostic and Philosopher, Eliphas Levi had said that in the end days in the tradition in the Church that the manifestation of the Mysteries of the Apocalypse is reserved till the last times.
The below dialogue is a satyr based on real words and facts that help substantiate what I and Eliphas Levis had stated, that Mysteries of the Apocalypse would be revealed in the End Time.

So is the Apocalypse the book of the Gnosis or Secret Doctrine of the first Christians, and the key of this doctrine is indicated by an occult versicle of the Lord’s Prayer, which the Vulgate leaves untranslated, while in the Greek Rite, the priests only are permitted to pronounce it. This versicle, completely kabalistic, is found in the Greek text of the Gospel according to St Matthew, and in several Hebrew copies, as follows:

This article is from the United Nations and I thought that my recent articles on the phoenix and worm coincide with this event.
Norway’s permanent place in the Security Council – Last updated: 5/22/2013 // Norway doesn’t have a permanent seat in the UN’s Security Council. The Security Council Chamber’s chairs and other interiors, however, are all Norwegian.
The United Nations’ Security Council Chamber has been renovated after almost 60 years of faithful service, and had its grand opening in April 2013. It was returned to its original form, and has hence stood the test of time. This was also a main priority when Norwegian architect Arnstein Arneberg planned its somewhat conservative interiors in the early 1950s.
‘My understanding of the problem was to execute a room of good, durable materials with a character, in all simplicity, which represented not only a casual taste of today, but a character so neutral that it could withstand the test of time,’ explained Arneberg to the periodical Interiors in 1952, shortly after the Chamber’s completion.
In the years that have gone by since then, this small chamber, situated in the UN Conference Building at Eastern Manhattan, has seen visits by more Heads of States and noble people than most other rooms around the world.
Exactly how Norway and Arneberg was handed the task of financing and constructing the interiors of this very special room, is hard to trace. But in a 2005 article in the Scandinavian Journal of Design History, Ingeborg Glambek concludes that it is obvious that the first UN Secretary-General, Trygve Lie of Norway, was influential when the decision was made.
Still, the process towards decorating the chamber wasn’t always as straightforward. For example, the Norwegian produced textiles for the walls had to be fire-proofed according to local New York state regulations; and this treatment, it turned out, made the textiles shrink!
This and other challenges were eventually overcome, and the trade-mark blue walls imprinted with the yellow anchors of faith, the growing wheat of hope, and the hearts of charity are still there.
Due to a need to cut costs, only the front part of the room was clad in marble, marble that is framing the main attraction of the room; a huge Per Krogh oil canvas painting constructed around the theme of a phoenix rising from a world in ashes.
It is easy to think that these ashes symbolize the then recent World War II.
‘The essence of the idea is to give an impression of light, security and joy. The world we see in the foreground is collapsing, while the new world based on based on clarity and harmony can be built up,’ explained Krogh himself in 1950, before adding;
‘Thus must the work of the UN and the Security Council provide the seeds for a new and more valuable life’.
Due to fear for the painting causing delegates to lose concentration, the then UN Art Panel was less convinced. But an insistent Arneberg, probably backed by Secretary-General Lie, eventually put the painting in place in time for the opening.
Today the fear for lack of concentration seems also to have gone away, as a decision was made to move the canvas along with the council to the temporary Security Council Chamber. And now it is back at its original location in the real and renovated Security Council Chamber.

The phoenix and worm regenerates itself from the fire. One is mythological in nature, and the other a scientific fact. All earth’s 
creatures are born from an egg, but the phoenix and worm are born from the fire, and are able to regenerate themselves without sexual intercourse. This is the myth of the phoenix, where from its corpse a worm emerges from the ashes of the dying bird. The next day from this worm after being nourished by the juices of the dead bird, a new phoenix is born, and on the third day flies away to Arabia.
The description of the resurrection of the phoenix from a worm appears to be a true story concealed in myths that tell us about reincarnation and immortality of the human soul. Many of these ancient myths are similarly told by various cultures and religions, such as in Christianity with the resurrection of Christ who rose from the dead on the third day.
In the bible, Jacob is called a worm and Christ also calls himself a worm in saying; “But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by everyone, despised by the people.”(Psalm 22:6) The Jews had even trampled upon Christ as if he was a loathsome creature akin to a worm. Jesus Christ is also connected with the phoenix in ancient Christian literature. Early Church fathers such as Clement of Rome had said the phoenix was representative of Christ’s resurrection. Pope St. Clement used the legend of the phoenix to explain Jesus’s resurrection, and ties to resurrection after death made the phoenix a popular image on Christian tombstones. The image to the left showing the symbolism of Jesus and the phoenix, is from a modern day Catholic Church in Spain.
In Christianity, the phoenix is also a symbol of the Virgin Mary and the virgin birth conceived in the womb of a mother who was yet a virgin. Just like Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty of Danaans, Perseus was also virgin-born. In Job 29:18, Job says he will multiply his days like “Khol.” The meaning of the Hebrew word khol is both sand and phoenix. In Jewish tradition, the khol or milcham is the phoenix who was rewarded with immortal life for being the only creature in the Garden of Eden to refuse the forbidden fruit.
As it is said in Mark 9:48 – ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ Christ has said, “Because I fire, ye shall live also.” In Matthew 16:21; “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” And 1 Corinthians 15:4 – “that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”
Before the Old and New Testaments were written, we had the The Book of the Dead where in Chapter 13, we can find where the morning star reference was first originated: ‘I go in like the Hawk, and I come forth like the Bennu bird [the Phoenix], the morning star of Ra’s—where, for ‘morning star.’ The Phoenix flew into Egypt in the Consulship of XII Quintus Plannus, that it was brought to Rome in the Censorship of Claudius, in the eight hundred year of the City, and testified also in their records; but after all concludeth, Sed quc e falsa nemo dubitabit, As we read it in the fair and ancient impression of Brixia; as Aldrovandus hath quoted it, and as it is found in the manuscript Copy, as Dalechampius hath also noted.
Herodotus was the first writer who had given us the first detailed account of the Phoenix:—” It comes but once in five hundred years int0 the country where its father dies.” Artemidorus, the Ephesian, in the time of Antoninus Pius, had said; “A certain time elapsed, a worm is produced from the ashes [of the former-phoenix], and this worm being transformed, becomes again a phoenix.” According to Philostratus, “the phoenix resembles an eagle, and traits rays of light from its feathers.” Achilles Tatius:—” It comes from Ethiopia into Egypt: it vaunts the sun as its lord, as is testified by the image of which its head is crowned: it is of a cerulean colour, of a rosy aspect, and its feathers project like the solar rays.”
The mythical phoenix of both Greek and Roman legends had described this fire bird with a brilliant red plumage that emitted pure sunlight, and it was immortal for it could live for many centuries. It would spend its years in Arabia, and upon reaching the end of its lifetime it would fly into Egypt where it was reborn in flames. In ancient China, this phoenix is one of the four sacred animals along with the dragon, tortoise, and unicorn who helped create the world. The ancient Hermetics had regarded the phoenix as a symbol of the accomplishment of alchemical transmutation.
33rd Degree Freemason, Manly P. Hall had written in the The Lost Keys of Freemasonry; “These were the immortals to whom the term ‘phoenix’ was applied, and their symbol was the mysterious two-headed bird, now called an eagle , a familiar and little understood Masonic emblem .” Hence, what is thought to be the double headed eagle of the 33rd degree of Scottish Rite Freemasonry in reality, is a double headed phoenix, or one could say a double headed worm or serpent such as the symbol of the Caduceus Wand of Hermes. This wand was symbolized by a short staff entwined by two serpents, sometimes surmounted by wings. This same symbol is now used in the “commercial medical industry” who places profits above humans and health.
Could these alleged serpents really represent two immortal worms?
The Roman poet Ovid had written this about the Phoenix: “Most beings spring from other individuals; but there is a certain kind which reproduces itself. The Assyrians call it the Phoenix. It does not live on fruit or flowers, but on frankincense and odoriferous gums. When it has lived five hundred years, it builds itself a nest in the branches of an oak, or on the top of a palm tree. In this it collects cinnamon, and spikenard, and myrrh, and of these materials builds a pile on which it deposits itself, and dying, breathes out its last breath amidst odors. From the body of the parent bird, a young Phoenix issues forth, destined to live as long a life as its predecessor. When this has grown up and gained sufficient strength, it lifts its nest from the tree (its own cradle and its parent’s sepulchre), and carries it to the city of Heliopolis in Egypt, and deposits it in the temple of the Sun.”
Milton, in “Paradise Lost,” Book V., compares the angel Raphael descending to earth to a Phoenix:
“… Down thither, prone in flight
He speeds, and through the vast ethereal sky
Sails between worlds and worlds, with steady wing,
Now on the polar winds, then with quick fan
Winnows the buxom air; till within soar
Of towering eagles, to all the fowls he seems
A Phoenix, gazed by all; as that sole bird
When, to enshrine his relics in the sun’s
Bright temple, to Egyptian Thebes he flies.”
THE PHOENIX AND THE WORM
Charles Dickens had written about the connection between the phoenix and worms in the book, All the Year Round;
A slow-worm is a snake or serpent. Every language, ancient or modern, exercises its own right to call worms what are not worms. In short, “worm,” like many others, is an encroaching and aggressive word, claiming much which it has no right to. It is a feudal seigneur who shifts his landmark, so as to take in every tempting scrap of contiguous ground.
From a worm was produced the phoenix, of which there never was but one; and when she came to her end by burning, out of her ashes there arose another worm, which afterwards grew to be another phoenix. A silk-worm with the motto ” Sibi vinculanectit” is a device of the courtier who makes himself a slave and spins his own chains, although they be silken. A worm figures the remorse of conscience. Naked as a worm, expresses the very extreme of nudity. The worm turning when trodden upon, is the protest of the feeble against injury and injustice. To draw the worms out of anybody’s nose, is to get him to talk and betray his secrets. There are two Saints Ver or Verus—that is, Saints Worm.(2)
Fire is the very element of action, energy, power, creativity, passion, desire, and sexuality. The symbol for fire is the upright triangle or pyramid. This is why the ancient Egyptians had built pyramids. Manly P Hall had written in the Initiates of the Flame; “Of the elements of the earth is this altar composed. It is the great cube of matter. On or in this altar burns Flame. It is this Flame that is the spirit of all created things. Man, know thyself. Thou art the Flame, and thy bodies are the living altar.”
A fire that can literally burn us alive by creating our own delirious passions and vice driven hells, or it can literally transform and forge our souls into perfection so that we then rise above the flames like the glorious ancient fire-bird, the phoenix. – Moe

“The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was 
hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” – Revelation 12:9
(This is Part 1 in a series of articles on The Great Dragon) – Some theologians say it is not the devil or demons who created evil, but that they were cast forth from heaven by the orders of good angels for their pride. There are many cultures such as the Hebrew, Assyrian, Greek, Egyptian and Arabian which agree with these theologians. Pherecides the Syrian describes the fall of the devils, and that Ophion, that is the devilish serpent was the head of the rebelling army.
An army whose origins are from Athens and the island of Crete in Greece.
The connection of the devilish serpent who ruled the rebelling armies can be traced back to the time before Rome had became a super power, when Greece had ruled much of the world. The first law giving king that held the office of Archon in the Capital of Greece at Athens was named Draco. He had given the Athenians their first written laws in blood, and this is the time when ‘draconian laws” were introduced to the world. From this same name of Draco, we get the modern English word ‘dragon.’ A name that means a “large serpent.”
WORSHIP OF THE SERPENT AND DRAGON
The Ancient Greeks and Egyptians like many other cultures around the world had venerated the serpent, and in particular, a serpent god that I believe to be the Great Dragon found in the bible. In the book of Ezekiel, the Bible calls the king of Egypt ‘the great dragon that lie in the midst of his rivers’. In ancient Greek mythology, there was a Dragon King known by the Latin name of ‘Ophion.’ The meaning of Ophion is serpent, and in Hebrew: נחש, nachash. He was known as one of the five builders of Thebes and the first Titan Kings who ruled over the whole world from the Sacred Mountain called today, Mount Ida (Dicte), and in mythology, Mount Olympus located on the Holy Island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.
The whole race of Titans were subject to the Serpent-King and Great Dragon who is known as Ophion.
It was said that Ophion had enlightened Man. In Egypt, serpents were called Agathodemones. A name that means “Good Demons.” From Crete, Greece and into Egypt, these were the lands where the great dragon Ophion had ruled with his Queen of the Titans, Eurynome. The meaning of his queen’s name Eurynome is “wide ruling.” Hence, together with his queen, “the serpent Ophion and Dragon is wide ruling.”
THE GREAT DRAGON OF CRETE AND GREECE
Not many people today are aware that Crete was at one time, the most important and sacred islands in all the world. Crete was once called Arcadia and the people, the Arcadians (Children of the Ark of the Covenant). Crete was known as Keftiu by the Ancient Egyptians who called them also by the name of the Sea Peoples. In the bible, this island is known under the Hebrew “Kaftor or Caphtor”, and the Arabs had called it Kerith. The Latins changed the name to Cappadocia, and later the Europeans had named it Candia. However, after the Turks conquered the island, they changed the name of the island to its current name ‘Kriti’, which is Greek for the English word Crete. In the bible, they are known as the Canaanites, Amorites and Philistines. In myth they are known as the Minoans, and in history books they are often called the Phoenicians.
For thousands of years, the Cretans with their serpent God had played a huge role in forming the world we see today. They invented maritime commerce and international trade through their mastery of arts, crafts, and the sea as the first true Navy that had operated through their vast network of cities around the world such as Knossus, Athens, Thebes, Rome and Sicily. After all, the name Crete is derived from the Greek word Kriti (Kri-ti), which means ‘creation.’ The meaning of the English word Cre’ate, is “to form out of nothing, to creo, creatum – cause to exist.” Hence, FIAT LUX.
Crete is also well known in myth as the birthplace and home to the greatest of all Gods, Zeus (Jove or Jupiter) who was hidden there 
in a cave on Mount Ida (Zion) by his mother Rhea. It was here, where the infant Zeus was entrusted to the care of the Priesthood of Jupiter. Pliny had mentioned, they were called the Curetes (Kuretes, Kri’ti). The Curetes were also known by several names such as the Priest of Pan, Priests of Cybcle, Luperci, Corybantes, Dactyls, Cabiri, and Telchines.
In myth, Crete is home to the mythical king Minos and the Minoans. The meaning of the name Minos, is “Son of Zeus.” Several Cretan kings were known to have taken the name Minos. The Minoans would be the children of Zeus, who are also known mythologically as the Titans.
In Greek mythology, the Titans (Greek: Τιτάν—Ti-tan; plural: Τιτᾶνες—Ti-tânes) were a primeval race of powerful deities, descendants of Gaia (Earth or Rhea) and Jupiter (Lord and Soul of the World), that ruled during the legendary Golden Age. They were immortal giants of incredible strength and were also the first pantheon of Greek gods and goddesses. The whole race of Titans were subject to the Serpent-King and Great Dragon who is known as Ophion.
These were who the Ancient Greeks had called Gods, Goddesses, Daemons, and in mythology, Titans. Both Ophion and Eurynome are who some people would call today in English, ‘demons.’ To the Greeks of old, these demons were not all evil or all bad. If you research the true meaning of the English word demon, you will find that it comes from the Latinized version, dæmon and daimôn which is derived from the original Greek δαίμων. According to Plato, in his Cratylus, the etymology of daimôn/daēmones (δαίμονες: deity/daêmôn δαήμονες) means “knowing, wise or intelligent.”
Manly P. Hall wrote about these demons and the views of the Christian Church in his book, “The Secret Teachings of all Ages;”
The Christian Church gathered all the elemental entities together under the title of demon. This is a misnomer with far-reaching consequences, for to the average mind the word demon means an evil thing, and the Nature spirits are essentially no more malevolent than are the minerals, plants, and animals. Many of the early Church Fathers asserted that they had met and debated with the elementals.
Some of these good wise demons were considered as Gods to the ancient Titans, whom they had venerated such as Ophion and Eurynome. According to Plutarch, “that according to a divine nature and justice, the souls of virtuous men are advanced to the rank of daemons; and that from demons, if they are properly purified, they are exalted into gods, not by any political institution, but according to right reason.” Hesiod had said, “when those happy men of the first and golden age of the world were departed from this life, great Jupiter promoted them to be demons, that is, keepers and protectors, or patrons, of earthly mortals, and overseers of their good and evil works.” Plato had said this about these demons, “that when the great leader Jupiter drives his chariot swiftly in the heavens, he marches first, as disposing and taking care of all things, a vast host of gods and demons then follow, distributed into twelve parties, but that Vesta alone remains in the mansion of the gods.”
They had ruled the world from Crete until they were eventually dethroned by the God Kronos (Saturn) and Goddess Rhea (Discharge or Flow) who had banished the Titans to the darkness of the earth-encircling river Oceanus. This event is described in the mythology of Apollonius of Rhodes, in his Argonautica (1.495f) summarizes a song of Orpheus:
He sang how the earth, the heaven and the sea, once mingled together in one form, after deadly strife were separated each from other; and how the stars and the moon and the paths of the sun ever keep their fixed place in the sky; and how the mountains rose, and how the resounding rivers with their nymphs came into being and all creeping things. And he sang how first of all Ophion and Eurynome, daughter of Oceanus, held the sway of snowy Olympus, and how through strength of arm one yielded his prerogative to Cronos and the other to Rhea, and how they fell into the waves of Oceanus; but the other two meanwhile ruled over the blessed Titan-gods, while Zeus, still a child and with the thoughts of a child, dwelt in the Dictaean cave; and the earthborn Cyclopes had not yet armed him with the bolt, with thunder and lightning; for these things give renown to Zeus.
DID THE GOOD DRAGONS JOIN THE CHURCH TO DO BATTLE WITH THE REBELLING DRAGONS
Crete is the same holy island and sacred mountain where the god Zeus (Jove or Jupiter) was hidden in a cave by his mother who was also the goddess of the earth, Rhea. She had hid him there in order to protect Zeus from his vengeful father Cronos (Saturn). It was here on the island of Crete where Rhea had entrusted the care and education of the infant Zeus to the Priesthood of Jupiter, who were also known by many other names such as the Priests of Pan, Ophites, Idaean Dactyli, Luperci, Curetes and Telchines, to name a few. After they were conquered and banished by the Romans, these same priests eventually had become part of the Roman Empire as the Levites. The 7th Century Doctor of the Catholic Church and Father to English History, the Venerable Saint Bede (Beda) had written on the Levites being connected to the Catholic Church in his book, “On Ezra and Nehemiah;” “Allegorically, the Levites represent those attached to the Catholic Church.”
In Egypt, the Levites were the only tribe that remained committed to God. During the Exodus, the Levite tribes were particularly 
zealous in protecting the Mosaic law in the face of those worshipping the Golden Calf, which may have been a reason for their priestly status.
In the Book of Malachi, God explains why he chose the Levites to be his priests. This would make sense, since the high priests for judgment of the New Testament are the Levites. The root in Hebrew means “to join,” to “‘ bind ” (see Lui-than “snaky-monster “). When the land of Israel was apportioned among the tribes in the days of Joshua, the Tribe of Levi, being chosen as priests, did not receive land (Joshua 13:33, (14:3). However, the tribe of Levi were given cities. Six cities were given to the tribe as refuge cities for all men of Israel, which were to be controlled by the Levites. Three of these cities were located on each side of the Jordan River. In addition, 42 other cities (and their respective open spaces), totaling 48 cities were given to the Tribe of Levi. (Numbers 35).
The Levites would now be part of a new Roman army under their messiah of the New Testament (New Law), Jesus Christ. The other tribes of Israel and various serpent cults ruled by the dragon would be the rebelling army, whom under Roman Law would be subject to the Levitical priesthood and brotherhood who hold the keys of Saint Peter.
Revelation 20:2 – Satan Bound the Thousand Years: Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Todd Creason: Some time ago I wrote a piece about whether President Obama was a Freemason or not. There was a photo circulating at the time of what was purportedly the President’s hands, and the right hand was clearly wearing a Masonic ring. All the photo showed was two hands holding the Presidential Seal. There was a lot of buzz at the time that this was evidence that President Obama was a Freemason. However, the President is not a Freemason–the photo wasn’t of the President’s hands. It was posed by a photographer for a magazine piece. Some years ago, the President was speaking for an audience, and suddenly, the Presidential seal fell off the podium and crashed to the floor. The President took it in stride, walked around the podium, picked it up off the floor and rehung it on the podium to the amusement of the people in the audience. The piece was written about that funny incident, and the photo was taken later for the piece–the hands belonged to a stand-in.
But I made a mistake in the piece–I questioned whether the stand-in was a Mason, because (at least according to me) he was wearing his ring upside-down. I got over a hundred emails on the subject. As I quickly learned, the custom for wearing a Masonic rings varies a great deal by locale. I was dead wrong on that point. As it was quickly pointed out to me, many Masons wear their rings with the points out. Live and learn.
A couple weeks ago, the subject came up again–on Facebook. I posted a picture of a friend of mine, the Illustrious Brother William J. Hussey, Jr. 33°, and one of the Midnight Freemasons, Brother Brian Schimian, asked why he was wearing his ring upside-down. Bill Hussey was wearing his ring the same way I wear mine. I thought to myself “oh boy, here we go again!” There were a number of comments on that post–over 90 in an hour–including comments from Midnight Freemason Bill Hosler and our newest member Aaron Gardner. Brian Schimian and I later talked on the phone and decided this would be an excellent topic for a piece on the Midnight Freemasons. Since he was taught to wear his ring points out, and I was instructed to wear mine points in, we decided to write the piece together and compare the reasons why we wear our rings the way we do.
Points In?
In my part of the world, Masons wear their rings with the points down–towards your wrist. When I was a new Mason I didn’t know it mattered. Ever since the day I was raised a Master Mason, I wear my ring each and every day, and in the beginning, I wore it which ever way I happened to put it on that morning. I was at a degree one evening, and afterwards, we’re sitting around a table in the dining hall, and a Brother noticed how I had my ring on and told me I was wearing it upside-down. That particular day, I’d put it on points up. I looked around the table and noticed everyone at that table was wearing it points down. We had a discussion about it. The explanation is that the points of the compass should point towards your heart, to remind you of your obligation. That ring, according to our local custom, is a reminder to the wearer of those tenants we honor, and the Fraternity we represent. I’ve worn it that way since. I thought it was Universal at the time–as I learned later, it certainly is not. There are those that wear it points down.

Points Out?
Brian Schimian: For as long as I can remember while I was growing up, I wanted to wear my father’s Masonic ring. It represented everything that he was and what I strove to be. As I moved my way through Masonic education, that ring and the symbolism therein came to mean more. The typical Masonic ring is a combination of Masonic symbols. The Square, or earthly perfection, and Compasses, or heavenly perfection. Frequently, the letter G is incorporated into the center. Along my journey of enlightenment, I came to understand that the ends of the Square point up to show ones aspirations toward God and the points of the Compasses point down to represent heavenly qualities coming down to earth from God. The ring, as all Masonic symbols are displayed in the same manner, to show others that I know what my obligations are and to show the rest of the world I am a Mason. The ring exemplifies how I live my life: upright & on the level. If someone asks what that ring represents, it is easier for them to see the design as you show it to them and describe the different points if it is worn points down.
I remember one Brother explaining it like this as he showed me his ring: “Sharing the light of Masonry or advertising, if you will, being a mason is being “Upright” and “On The Level” as so should be the emblem of a Mason. By displaying the ring points out, a Mason makes the statement that as others see his actions, so will they gain a upright perception of the Craft.” This Brother wore an old Masonic Signet ring that was older than both of our ages combined. He continued, “The original Masonic signet rings had to face this direction to ensure that when the wearer pressed the ring into warm wax to validate and seal an authentic Masonic document, the legs of the compass pointed down on the resulting wax seal.”
Todd Creason: Well there you have it–two different ring customs, and two different philosophies on how Masonic rings should be worn. And I’m sure if our readers would chip in, you’d find there is a lot more diversity than just these two we’ve presented here, and I hope our readers will share those with us.
Brian Schimian: Should it look right side up to Him, you or them? In the end it may not matter how one chooses to wear the Points, as long as you act upon them and remember what it means to be able to wear them. Probably the most encompassing explanation I have found is this: “You are supposed to wear the ring with the Compasses pointed into yourself. Until such a time that you become a Past Master of your Lodge. At which time, you can turn the points out to the rest of the world, as spiritually speaking, you have reached the point of Master, and have mastered the art of the Quadrant, and you may now share your wisdom with others.”
Another answer to this question can be found in a new style of Masonic ring that is beginning to make itself around the market. The laser etched Square & Compasses are placed in both directions around the ring. So there you go, the free market has solved the dilemma for us.
