38,000 Year-Old Engravings Confirms Ancient Origins of Technique Used by Artists Like Van Gogh

A newly discovered trove of 16 engraved and otherwise modified limestone blocks, created 38,000 years ago, confirms the ancient origins of the pointillist techniques later adopted by 19th and 20th century artists such as Georges Seurat, Vincent Van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, and Roy Lichtenstein.

Archaeologists Discover New Dead Sea Scrolls Cave

Archaeologists from Israel’s Hebrew University have declared they found “one of the most exciting archaeological discoveries in 60 years.”

Lying in the old Judean desert just down the dusty cliff side, a cave was discovered with broken ancient storage jars, fragments of a scroll wrapping, and a leather tying string. It is being dubbed the 12th cave that once housed Dead Sea Scrolls. (more…)

Pope Francis Goes After Freemasons and Seizes Power of the Knights of Malta

The Vatican has officially seized power from the Order of Malta. An action that amounts to one sovereign country annexing another. This news comes shortly after the head of the Order, Fra’ Matthew Festing met with Pope Francis and resigned from the Order. Now the Vatican has ceased complete power of the order ending 900 years of sovereignty in what is being called “a brutal power-grab by the Vatican.”

The disorder in Malta had started in December when the Vatican demanded that the Knights of Malta dismiss Albrecht Freiherr von Boeselager as grand chancellor (the order’s third-ranking official) for distributing thousands of condoms and oral contraceptives through the order’s humanitarian agency, Malteser International. Southwest Native Americans Knew Advanced Geometry

Researchers from Arizona State University (ASU) have found that the Southwest Native Americans had advanced geometry skills that enabled them to build sophisticated architectural complexes. They were so good in fact, they could be called Pythagoreans.

These findings represent the first potential quantitative evidence of knowledge of advanced geometrical constructs in a prehistoric North American society, which is particularly remarkable given that the ancestral Pueblo peoples had no written language or number system.

Pope Francis is convinced that the greatest threat to the contemporary age is Gnosticism

Here is an excerpt from an interesting article by Crux Now which states that Pope Francis believes that the greatest threat to the contemporary age is Gnosticism. Francis says that Gnosticism can be found in clericalism, legalism and fundamentalism. It is especially strong among the keepers of knowledge, the doctors of the law, who are more inclined to trust in the power of the world. (more…)

University of London students want to ban ‘white philosophers’

Some dumb students from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) are calling on the banning white skinned philosophers such as  Plato, Aristotle, Voltaire, and Immanuel Kant as part of a wider campaign to “decolonize” the university and “address the structural and epistemological legacy of colonialism.”

The vice-chancellor of Buckingham University, Sir Anthony Seldon, told The Daily Mail that it looks like “a real danger” of “political correctness getting out of control.” (more…)
