Albert Pike was a 33rd Degree Freemason, and Sovereign Grand Master of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite who had written 
extensively on Gnosticism in his Masonic Gnostic masterpiece, Morals and Dogma. Throughout this great book, you will find many truths that he had shared in regards to the ancient Gnostics and how their teachings live on to this very day.
They can be found all throughout the teachings and degrees of Freemasonry. As I had said before, the letter G in Masonry represents Gnosis. The ancient Gnostic teachings are also the basis of all Abrahamic religions and at the very foundation of the Kabalistic doctrines.
Pike had written in Morals and Dogma;

My life has always been filled with the feeling of being alone. These feelings I can recall all throughout my childhood, teen years and as an adult. They followed me like faceless monsters in a bad dream that would last from the wee hours of the morning and well into the dark night of the soul.
Sometimes I would feel the utter despair of abandonment as if I was a child with no parents or family even though I had both. A lost adopted child who even my own biological parents could not relate.
It often didn’t matter who I would surround myself with, and who I befriended for much needed companionship. This loneliness had seemed to haunt me no matter what I did, or where I went. Surrounding myself with people, my life was even lonelier than when I’m by myself.
Today at this point in my 44th year of my sojourn journey, this fact seems more evident than ever.
In this interconnected world of fast media, fast friends, and attention deficit disorderly people, I sometimes feel more disconnected than ever. I’m simply an outcast caught in a web on the super information highway of ignorance where almost everything and everyone is a copy of a copy that many of us now call our lives. (more…)

The most simple explanation of alchemy, is that it is a biological science based on mastering the chemicals and energies within and without our bodies that are the result of being human. It is the science of perfecting these chemical energies of our souls, spirits and human bodies, through our thoughts, feelings, food intake and actions.
When the science of alchemy is done correctly, it can literally transform us into super healthy spiritual human beings that are able to operate at peak performance in almost all that we do. When we master ourselves both physically and mentally, we can then become master’s of our own universe in order to live loving lives that are not only filled with abundance, but through which we can also prevent or cure our own diseases and prolong our lives.
This alchemical process that we undergo while living, also follows us into death. It is very important that you understand this. Not only is it true, that what you think and how you act, you shall become; but also how you think and act will determine where your soul will go when you die.
An alchemical process, that can make someone who is born of immortal energies and chemicals from the heavens, to then be transformed into mortal earth energies that become part of the dark orb because they have changed their whole alchemical make up while they had lived, by not living as they should have.
Charles Darwin somewhat explains this process in his Origin of Species, p. 199: “The old notion of all the inhabitants of the earth having been swept away at successive periods by catastrophes, is now generally given up. On the contrary, we have every reason to believe that species and groups of species gradually disappear, one after another, first from one spot, then from another, and finally from the world.” (more…)

Carl Jung explains how Gnosticism is not dead and has formed a bridge via alchemy that existed between past and present in 
Memories, Dreams and Reflections. Jung had written:
“But when I began to understand alchemy I realized that it represented the historical link with Gnosticism, and that a continuity therefore existed between past and present.
Grounded in the natural philosophy of the Middle Ages, alchemy formed the bridge on the one hand into the past, to Gnosticism, and on the other into the future, to the modern psychology of the unconscious.” ~ Carl Jung; Memories, Dreams and Reflections
