The Gnostic Labyrinth of Initiation

The first ever organized group to officially call themselves Gnostics had lived on the island of Crete Cretan_Labyrinthand many other lands around the world for thousands of years. They were said to have come to Crete from Egypt with their Phoenician Prince Cadmus. According to Herodotus and Strabo, these people were originally known as the Phoenicians who accompanied Cadmus out of Phoenicia.

The meaning of Cadmus is “he who came from the East.” These ancient Gnostics were known by several names over this long-span of time; such as the Curetes, Telchines, Ophites, Hivites, the Priests of Pan, and the Sons of Mizraim (Hebrew), meaning “Sons of Egypt.” In the bible they are called the Nephilim, the Sons of God, Sons of Abraham, and Sons of Noah who are the original Phoenician Hebrews and Israelites that created the esoteric gnostic literature masterpieces known as the Old and New Testament Bibles. Gnosticism is the true religion of the soul and earth

Gnosis is the basis of all the world’s religions. The Order of the Gnostics Tshirt

In its most simple form, Gnosticism is the true ancient religion of the soul and earth.

The word religion means “to bind,” and when we become one with our soul and the earth, we are bound together in immortal holy matrimony.

Gnosticism is not a manmade religion based on man’s laws, but a divine religion built upon the laws of the heavens, nature and being human.

Laws that anyone can follow regardless of race, gender and/or country.

The First Gnostics: Brotherhood of Amon Ra

Secrets of the Pyramid Set I HornsThe ancient Egyptians not only worshiped the As Above, So Below of the planets, stars and the heavens, they had also practiced a secret mystery religion of Gnosticism. Evidence of these facts we can witness in the ancient Egyptian King of the Gods, Amon-Ra, and in symbols such as the ram, rams horns, serpent, or with stone statues like that of the sphinx.

The great Brotherhood of Amon Ra (Amun Ra) were the first Gnostics to come from the East. Their city, Theba or Thebes, the City of the Ark in the New Kingdom was their capital in Egypt when they had held power. The God they had worshiped there was Amon (Amun, Amnion, Amen).

Later during the New Kingdom, the God Amon would be combined with the Sun God Ra to create Amon Ra. The priests and kings of Thebes had also worshiped the serpent or dragon which is very evident in the symbolism they had left behind. The Kings of Ethiopia, and Pharaohs of Egypt wore a headdress with a serpent in the form of an asp (serpent). This would be the Gnostic Brotherhood of Amon Ra.

The serpent represents wisdom, which Helena Blavatsy says that serpent worship was spread across the globe by “the Masters of Wisdom, and that all Initiates into the Sacred Mysteries, are called Nagas, or Serpents of Wisdom.”

The meaning of the word Pyramid is the “Fire of God in the Mind.” This fire is inherent in all living creatures on the So Below here on earth and also in the heavens in the As Above. The pyramids allowed the initiates of the Secret Mysteries, such as the Priesthood of the Magi and royal family of the Pharaoh to tap this fire in order to alchemically transform and renew themselves with the sacred fire on the So Below.

The God Amon Ra had held the highest seat of the Gods in the land of the pyramids for many centuries. (more…)

Immortality of the Soul and Gnosis

(By Freemason, Gnostic and author, Hank Kraychir) – The term “Immortality of the Soul” should not be a foreign concept to the Enlightened Mason. In fact, Albert Pike, author of Morals and Dogma (1871) wrote about the topic extensively, like on page 622;

“Among all the nations of primitive antiquity, the doctrine of the immortality of the soul was not a mere probable hypothesis, needing laborious researches and diffuse argumentation to produce conviction of its truth. Nor can we hardly give it the name of Faith; for it was a lively certainty, like the feeling of one’s own existence and identity, and of what is actually present; exerting its influence on all sublunary affairs, and the motive of mightier deeds and enterprises than any mere earthly interest could inspire.”

With that quote in mind, when I read the article, “Life after death? Largest-ever study provides evidence that ‘out of body’ and ‘near-death’ experiences may be real,” I was reminded of Pike’s words. In short, the soul does, in fact, exist; denying its existence does not change its presence, it does not require “laborious researches” – as this article will demonstrate. (more…)

The Great Work

The term Great Work (magnum opus) is a term used in Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, Hermeticism, Alchemy and for The The Great WorkOrder of the Gnostics. It is simple to define, but very difficult to complete.

The work is considered “Great” because it is one of our main purposes in this lifetime, and how we evolve our souls through each successive life.

Many of us are like an undisciplined child whose souls have just began our journeys on the path of the Great Work, and some souls are old wise beings that just need to ‘remember’ the Great Work in order to evolve. To remember is to become a Gnostic that taps the ancient Gnosis encoded within your very own DNA.

This is the Great Work of Human Evolution. (more…)
