The Masonic Serpent Kings

“The Serpent is universally esteemed a legitimate symbol of Freemasonry.”- Signs and Symbols by OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAGeorge Oliver

Two of the most esteemed kings in all of Freemasonry were Solomon, King of Israel, and Hiram, the Phoenician king of Tyre who provided masons cedar and gold for the building of Solomon’s Temple. Many of the world’s most prolific Masonic historians have stated that the Freemasons trace their traditions, rituals and heritage to Solomon’s Temple. The world will be ruled by its most illumined minds

By Manly P. Hall – The Hiramic legend may be considered to embody the vicissitudes of philosophy itself. As institutions for wisdomthe dissemination of ethical culture, the pagan Mysteries were the architects of civilization. Their power and dignity were personified in CHiram Abiff–the Master Builder–but they eventually fell a victim to the onslaughts of that recurrent trio of state, church, and mob.

They were desecrated by the state, jealous of their wealth and power; by the early church, fearful of their wisdom; and by the rabble or soldiery incited by both state and church. As CHiram when raised from his grave whispers the Master Mason’s Word which was lost through his untimely death, so according to the tenets of philosophy the reestablishment or resurrection of the ancient Mysteries will result in the rediscovery of that secret teaching without which civilization must continue in a state of spiritual confusion and uncertainty. The Devil

“The Devil and the other demons were created by God good in their nature but they by themselves have made themselves Devil Signorelli-Antichristevil.” – Fourth Lateran Council

In many religions and myths, the devil is believed to be a supernatural entity that is the personification of evil and the enemy of God and humankind. The devil is called the slanderer or accuser of their faiths. Both God and the Devil are usually portrayed as fighting over human souls, where the Devil rules hell with his Legion of demons who punish the damned. In the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible), the devil is described as the Adversary (ha-satan), and an angel who instigates tests upon humankind. In the Gospel of Mark, 5:9, it describes the encounter of Jesus with Legion; “And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), “What is thy name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion: for we are many.”

The Devil and the Beast of Revelation is called “the Great Dragon, serpent or viper.” Serpent (Greek: ὄφις; Trans: Ophis, /o’-fēs/; “snake”, “serpent”) occurs in the Book of Revelation as the “ancient serpent” or “old serpent” used to describe “the dragon”; Satan the Adversary, who is the Devil. In the Book of Revelation 12:9, 20:2 have also been identified with Satan, as have “the prince of this world.” This serpent is depicted as a red seven-headed dragon having ten horns, each housed with a diadem. The serpent battles Michael the Archangel in a War in Heaven, which results in this devil being cast out to the earth. While on earth, he pursues the Woman of the Apocalypse. Unable to obtain her, he wages war with the rest of her seed (Revelation 12:1-18). He who has the key to the abyss and a great chain over his hand, binds the serpent for a thousand years. The serpent is then cast into the abyss and sealed within until he is released (Revelation 20:1-3). (more…)

All the Gods and Goddesses of Greece were black

(By Sir Godfrey Higgins) – Osiris and his Bull were black; all the Gods and Goddesses of Greece were black: at least this was Black gods and goddessesthe case with Jupiter, Bacchus, Hercules, Apollo, Amnion. The Goddesses Venus, Isis, Hecati, Diana, Juno, Metis, Ceres, Cybile, are black. The Multimammia is black in the Campidoglio at Rome, and in Montfaucon, Antiquity explained. The Linghams in India, anointed with oil, are black: a black stone was adored in numbers of places in India.

It has already been observed that, in the galleries, we constantly see busts and statues of the Roman Emperors, made of two kinds of stone; the human part of the statue of black stone, the drapery white or coloured. When they are thus described, I suppose they are meant to be represented as priests of the sun; this was probably confined to the celebration of the Isiac or Egyptian ceremonies.

On the colour of the Gods of the ancients, and of the identity of them all with the God Sol, and with the Cristna of India, nothing more need be said. The reader has already seen the striking marks of similarity in the history of Cristna and the stories related of Jesus in the Romish and heretical books. He probably will not think that their effect is destroyed, as Mr. Maurice flatters himself, by the word Cristna in the Indian language signifying black, and the God being of that colour, when he is informed, of what Mr. Maurice was probably ignorant, that in all the Romish countries of Europe, in France, Italy, German, the God Christ, as well as his mother, are described in their old pictures and statues to be black. Sons of the Serpent

The serpent is the symbol of health, wisdom, and Gnosis. The Serpent was venerated in Egypt as an emblem of Divinity, moe-swordan oracle, and as a god. The Sons of the Serpent who are sometimes called the Sons of Snakes are said to be the most wisest of races who have ever walked on earth.

This serpent race were the first true Gnostics that were sometimes called over the course of history, the Sons of Seth, the Ophites, Gnostics, Hivites, Nephilim, Kohanim, Seraphim, Phoenician Bards, Druids, and later they became attached to the Catholic Church as the biblical Levites from the priestly Tribe of Levi.

This is my tribe, and part of our story…

My family had originated from the island of Crete, and in particular, a dragon shaped island 7 miles away that was once known by many names such as Kos, Cos, Coos, Cous (Pliny – Cos), Ceus, Cea (from Ceus or Ceos, the son of Titan), Cia, Zia,  and Cean. Other names would be Delos, Merope, Lemnos, Letos, Staunchio and Patmos. It was on this island, where a great temple and school of the God of healing, Asklepios (or Asclepius) was operated. He was the god of medicine and reputed ancestor of the Asklepiades, the ancient Greek doctors’ guild. Today, the island of the dragon is known as Dia.

Our father in the bible is called the Great Dragon, Leviathan, and in mythology Ophis. We came to the Land of Canaan (Crete) from the East in a country known as the Land of Ham (Africa) with our Phoenician Prince Cadmus. All these various names are connected to the serpent such as Ophis, Ophite, Hivi or Hivite, Leviathan and Levi all signify a “Serpent.”

The name of the serpent in the ancient language of Canaan and the Phoenicians was pronounced as Aub, Ab; Oub, Ob; Oph, Op; Eph, and Eo. The meaning of the word Ophis signifies a Serpent, and was sometimes pronounced as Ope, Oupis, Opis, Ops; and by Cicero Upis. The Egyptian name of the serpent is Eph. The Greeks had called Apollo the god of light and the second sun, truth and prophecy, healing, plague, music, poetry, and more by the name of Python, which is the same as Ophis. The Ancient Egyptian Demon Worm Apep

In ancient Egypt, the serpent Apep (Apophis) was known as the evil god who lived in the underworld, and was the most wicked enemy Apepof Ra. Apep was personified with the darkness of the darkest hour of the night, against which the God of light Ra must not only battle, but fight successfully before he could rise in the east in the morning.

Ra was worshipped as a savior, and Apep worshipped against as the destroyer. Ra was the bringer of light and order, and upholder of Ma’at. Apep was the bringer of darkness, and Lord of Chaos. Apep was often depicted as a giant snake/serpent, and was sometimes called the Serpent from the Nile and Evil Lizard. Some accounts even said that his body stretched 16 yards in length and had a head made of flint. (more…)
