“Millions of spiritual creatures walk the earth; Unseen, both when we wake, and when we sleep.” Milton
Incubi and succubi are said to be nocturnal demons who are able to switch between male and female forms. A succubus: (plural: succubi) is a demon or creature of female form who has sexual intercourse with us in our dreams and fantasies, and an Incubus (plural: iccubi) is the male form. An example of an incubus is one who will pursue sexual relations with a woman in order to father a child, as in the legend of King Arthur and his master magician, Merlin.
They are sometimes called spirits, spooks, ghosts, fauns, fairies and vampires. (more…)

By Hermes – There was unconscious syncretism (and conscious also) long before the days of
Alexandria, for unconscious syncretism is as old as race-blendings. Even as all men are kin, so are popular cults related; and even as the religion of nobler souls is of one paternity, so are the theosophies of all religions from one source.
One of the greatest secrets of the innermost initiated circles was the grand fact that all the great religions had their roots in one mother soil. (more…)

The word magic, comes from the Greek: μάγοι, magoi, or magus and mag in the ancient Persian language
which means “priest.” The High Priest is the chief Judge or Interpreter of sacred mysteries and/or arcane knowledge of his people, religion, and/or order.
The title of the High Priest in Ancient Israel, in Hebrew is כהן גדול Kohen Gadol. In Ancient Greece, they were known as the Archiereus, and in Rome, the Pontifex Maximus. The Celtic Druids had the Arch Druid (Welsh: Archdderwydd) taken from the Greek Archiereus. (more…)

These are the dead whom we take for living persons; these are the vampires whom we mistake for
friends ! – Eliphas Levi
This is a chapter below that I thought many of my readers would be interested in reading from the book Transcendental Magic: Its Doctrine and Ritual (Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie) by Eliphas Levi. Levi explains the unseen world and those people who are living, but are dead humans walking because their souls have fled their bodies. They are who we may call today zombies, vampires and parasitical business people. He also talks about what happens to these people when they die.
It is a rather long chapter, but well worth the time.
The Below is Written By Eliphas Levi;
WE have already said that in the Astral Light, the images of persons and things are preserved. It is also in this light that can be evoked the forms of those who are no longer in our world, and it is by its means that are effected the mysteries of necromancy which are as real as they are denied. The King of Demons is named Asmodeus (Ashmedai). According to the Kabbalah, Asmodeus is a
cambion, born as the result of a union between King David, and the Queen of Demons named Agrat Bat Mahlat who was a succubus. David was the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel and Judah, and also an ancestor of Jesus. Agrat Bat Mahlat was a female demon who is referred to as succubus, and who appears in dreams and takes the form of a woman in order to seduce men, usually through sexual activity. The male counterpart is the incubus. (more…)

There have been many lawgivers who have brought their laws to mankind. Some of the most
famous are the Israelite Prince Moses with his 10 commandments, King Minos of Crete, and Solon of Athens.
There is another influential lawgiver that I would like to bring to your attention to, and that is less known than those mentioned above. He was one of the Seven Wise Men of Greece, and his name is Epimenides (Greek: Ἐπιμενίδης). In many ancient written accounts, he is said to be one of the most famous legislators of his era, and let me point out that he had lived at the same time as that of Solon. (more…)
