The telescope was known to a very few of the priests, and kept by them in private for the use only of the persons initiated
into the higher mysteries.
(By Sir Godfrey Higgins) – Many persons have thought that the Druids and the ancients generally had the use of telescopes.
According to Strabo,‘ a large mirror was elevated on the summit of the temple of the sun at Heliopolis, to reflect into that temple the full splendour of its meridian beam, whilst another of still larger dimensions was placed on the Pharos at Alexandria, in such a manner as to reflect ships approaching Egypt at a great distance, and imperceptible to the eye. Mr. Maurice has observed, that if these had been metallic reflectors, instead of glass tinned, they must soon have been corroded. That does not seem to me to follow as a necessary consequence. But we know the ancient Egyptians did possess the art of making glass, as is proved by the glass netting of beads, which I saw spread on the breast of a female mummy in the Museum of Lyons. It came from the royal catacombs at Thebes. This female was probably of the Memnonian race, consequently very ancient indeed, because she was a Negress.(female black) (more…)

By Sir Godfrey Higgins – From the circumstances related of Abaris, and from various particulars which have descended to
us, we must see, I think, that the Druids were Pythagoreans. The Essenians, of whom Philo has written the history, were confessedly Pythagoreans, and I think we may see some traces of these people amongst the Druids. They existed before Christianity, and lived in buildings called Monasteria or Monasteries, and were called Koinobioi, or Coenobites.
They were of three kinds; some never married, others of them did. They are most highly spoken of by all the authors of antiquity who have named them. The cruelties of the later Druids cannot be pleaded against this, because we know how orders of men have changed in long periods of time ; and have, when in circumstances of extreme distress, given way to superstitions of a cruel, absurd, and almost incredible nature. For the first time since possibly the first crusade, Pope Francis has called for what may amount to a modern-day military crusade to protect persecuted Christians from brutal Islamic jihadists such as the the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
This news also comes out after an alleged plot this week by ISIS to kill the Pope.
Here are some quotes from an Associated Press article who broke the news:
The Vatican is increasingly indicating support for military action in Iraq to protect Christians and other religious minorities from persecution by brutal Islamic jihadists.
As the world grapples with how to combat the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS), the Vatican released a letter Wednesday in which Pope Francis urges the international community “to take action to end the humanitarian tragedy now underway.”
The Pope’s comments followed stronger words from the Vatican’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva on Sunday. “Maybe military action is necessary at this moment,” Archbishop Silvano Tomasi said in an interview with Vatican Radio.
The plan for the first holy war was formed at the twilight of the 11th century by pope Sylvester II. It was later confirmed when the Christian Byzantine emperor, Alexius in the East had written a letter to then Pope Urban II asking for help from the attacking Muslim Turks in the Holy Land.
Shortly thereafter Pope Urban II called for the first “holy war” or Crusade to gain control of the Holy Land.
The First Crusade was known as Gesta Francorum. This was when the Knights Templar were formed and who were originally founded to protect Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land. In 1139 Pope Innocent II placed the Templars directly under papal authority.

“For my bread shall be made of the white barley, and my ale shall be made from the red grain of the god Hapi (the Nile-
god)” – Papyrus of Ani
Throughout the history of the world, many people and tribes were practicing alchemists who had searched for natural medicines that could cure disease and prolong their lives. A quest to locate the flower of life by finding the perfect plants, herbs and rocks with the proper God given magical medicinal properties that could be called the elixir of life in order to aid human kind in their journey upon earth, and quite possibly to the heavens of immortality.
The meaning of alchemy is the light or science of Egypt or Kham (Khem). The ancient Egyptians were some of the first master alchemists who had ruled their kingdom by alchemy and magic, that which is still practiced to this very day. To the Egyptians, alchemy was one of the, if not most important sciences that helped them not only rule their subjects, but also prolong their lives and quite possibly lead to immortality. Over the course of time, this science led them to the discovery of the magical medicinal properties found in various stones, plants, flowers and herbs that they had held sacred.
One of the most sacred of all was the Lotus flower and plant, that to them was magical. In ancient Egypt, the symbol for “plant”- meaning “Tree of Life,” was the three sacred lotus lilies. It became their symbol of life, immortality, and resurrection. (more…)

(By Manly P. Hall) – The lowest of these divisions is the physical nature, and those who dwell therein are of the earth, earthy; they live only for the gratification of their physical natures. Their idea of heaven is a place where there is food, feasting, and little or no work…Their minds are only partly active. Their bodies resemble prisons more than dwelling places…they live to labor, plodding along to a mediocre destiny…Give them opulence and they cannot retain it. Give them luxuries, and they do not appreciate them. They are the dark earthy ones who must ever bow before intelligence. They do not love God, for they cannot know Him. (more…)

“Pure must be he who enters the fragrant temple”
The healing temples of the God Asclepius in ancient Crete and Greece were some of the most famous medical treatment centers (hospitals) ever built in the old world. They were the first sacred structures constructed specifically for the purpose of medical care. These healing temples were named after the Greek God of wisdom, medicine, healing, rejuvenation and physicians, known as ‘Asclepius’.
Asclepius was the most important healer god of antiquity who brought prosperity to the ancient Greeks and Cretans in the 5th-1st centuries BC. These ancient physicians who served in these temples were also some of the first organized world wide priesthood who traveled the world in order to work for kings, and also themselves because their medical skills were in extreme demand.
They were a hereditary priesthood who at first only admitted family into the medical Brotherhood, and were known by various names throughout history such as the Sons of Asclepius or the Asklepiadi, Koans (Kohen or Kohanim) of Kos, Centaurs, (koan-taurs), the Curetes, and Telchines to name a few. Later in the West, such as in Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Britain, they would be known as the Druids and Culdees. (more…)
