Each man must necessarily have the right to judge of their truth for himself

No man or body of men can be infallible, and authorized to decide what other men shall believe, as to any tenet of faith. Except to those who first receive it, every religion and the truth of all inspired writings depend on human testimony and internal evidences, to be judged of by Reason and the wise analogies of Faith. Each man must necessarily have the right to judge of their truth for himself; because no one man can have any higher or better right to judge than another of equal information and intelligence (Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma, 1871, p. 29).

False prophets lead astray the unweary

“Between the modern truth seeker and the goal to which he aspires are numerous pitfalls and dilemmas. False prophets lead astray the unwary, conflicting doctrines perplex the uninformed, and a host of doubts and uncertainties weaken the resolution.” – Manly P. Hall

He who cannot love can never transform the serpent, and then nothing is changed

“He who cannot love can never transform the serpent, and then nothing is changed.” ~C.G. Jung, Basel Seminar, Para 87

I have written a lot about the symbology of the serpent over the years. If you are a Gnostic or simply a lover of truth, you should seek to understand the true meaning behind the symbolism and stories of the serpent.

Attis: Born at midnight on the 24th day of December

33rd Degree Freemason Manly P. Hall had said in The Secret Teachings of all Ages: “There existed a remarkable school of religious philosophy which centered around the life and untimely fate of another Savior-God known as Atys, or Attis, by many considered synonymous with Adonis. This deity was born at midnight on the 24th day of December. Of his death there are two accounts. In one he was gored to death like Adonis; in the other he emasculated himself under a pine tree and there died. His body was taken to a cave by the Great Mother (Cybele), where it remained through the ages without decaying.”

The connection between Freemasonry and the Gnostic schools is often overlooked

“Masonic historians are quick to point out some of the connections between Freemasonry and the cathedral builders, the Knights Templar, the Royal Society, Hermetic tradition, alchemists and Qabalaists, however the connection between Freemasonry and the Gnostic schools is often overlooked- even though it is perhaps the most prevalent.” – Timothy Hogan

Gnosis is a knowledge that sends one to the Inferno of matter

“Gnosis is a knowledge that sends one to the Inferno of matter and the Purgatory of morals to arrive at the spiritual Paradise.” – Gilles Quispel – Gnosticism from its Origins to the Middle Ages
