Magic is the art of manipulating the unseen forces of nature

By Manly P. Hall – “Magic is the art of manipulating the unseen forces of nature.white magic

A magician is one who is capable of juggling the four elements of bodies.

A magician is one who is capable of consciously molding the substances of matter of the three and a half worlds of material substance. […]

Grey magic is the unconscious or subconscious perversion of power.

Yellow magic is the failure to learn how to prevent the perversion of power.

Black magic is the use of spiritual powers to gratify animal or selfish proclivities.

White magic is the right use of spiritual power, consciously and objectively.“

Of Goetia and Necromancy

By Henry Cornelius Agrippa – Now the parts of Ceremonial Magick are Goetia and Theurgia. Goetiasymbols - necromancy is unfortunate, by the commerce of unclean spirits made up of the rites of wicked curiosities, unlawful charms, and deprecations, and is abandoned and execrated by all laws. Of this kind are those which we nowadays call Necromancers, and Witches.

A people envy’d by the Gods, have skill,
Begot by th’ evil one, even at their will
The heavens for to blemish, and the things
Which are in heaven, and on earth to bring
Out of order, and the poles for to force,
And of the rivers for to turn the course,
The mountains level, and the sky to drive

Old German Magic Spell Against Worms

Below is an old 9th century Saxon spell for health and longevity. The spell is known in Latin as the “Contra Vermes,” or in Worms norseEnglish, “Against Worms.”

It was created in order to help expel the worms (parasites) from the body, using a form of magic that uses words, intent and concentration to help a person focus on their health, and energies on killing these worms that are killing them.

This is just another example of how many of our ancient ancestors had known that worms were a serious health concern, and that an overabundance of them can wreak havoc on the human body to the point they make us sick, ill and disease ridden. Hence, as I have said before, the worm is the destroyer and creator.

Over a 1,000 years ago, the ancients devised health regimes that included special diets, bathing, and other remedies such as charms and spells to expel and kill these worms (parasites). Here is an example of one of these spells originally written in a German and Latin mixed text: (more…)

Looks That Kill: Eyes Project Rays of Energy

This is a fascinating 500 year-old story, that explains how the eyes can emit a spiritual vapor of blood that bewitch and/or Magic eyeinfect the eyes of a beholder with the like disease. This may not be far fetched, because we now know that eyes actually emit energy such as infrared rays. This is the reason for the red-eye in photographs. Also recently, Psychiatrist Colin A. Ross says that people can shoot energy beams from their eyes, and he has published data supporting this hypothesis in the journal, Anthropology of Consciousness, in an article titled “The Electrophysiological Basis of Evil Eye Belief.”

“The sense of being stared at is the basis of evil eye beliefs, which are regarded as superstitions because the emission of any form of energy from the human eye has been rejected by Western science. However, brainwaves in the 1–40 Hertz, 1–10 microvolt range emitted through the eye can be detected using a high-impedance electrode housed inside electromagnetically insulated goggles. This signal, which the author calls “human ocular extramission,” is physiologically active and has distinct electrophysiological properties from simultaneous brainwave recordings over the forehead.

Western science’s rejection of evil eye beliefs may be based on an erroneous rejection of a widespread component of human consciousness, the sense of being stared at, which may in turn be based on a real electrophysiological signal. The author proposes a series of future studies designed to determine whether human ocular extramission is the basis of evil eye beliefs.”(1)

I thought some of you would be intrigued by what Agrippa had written on this subject over 500 years ago. The chapter below is from “The philosophy of natural magic;” by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim and Henry Morley.

Agrippa had written – Fascination is a binding, which comes from the spirit of the witch, through the eyes of him that is so bewitched, and entering to his heart. Now the instrument of fascination is the spirit, viz., a certain pure, lucid, subtile vapor, generated of the purer blood by the heat of the heart. This doth always send forth, through the eyes, rays like to itself.

Those rays, being sent forth, do carry with them a spiritual vapor, and that vapor a blood (as it appears in swollen and red eyes), whose rays, being sent forth to the eyes of him that looks upon them, carry the vapor of the corrupt blood together with itself; by the contagion of which it doth infect the eyes of the beholder with the like disease.

So the eye, being opened and intent upon any one with a strong imagination, doth dart its beams (which are the vehiculum of the spirit) into the eyes of him that is opposite to him; which tender spirit strikes the eyes of him that is bewitched, being stirred up from the heart of him that strikes, and possesseth the breast of him that is stricken, wounds his heart and infects his spirit. Whence Apuleius saith, “Thy eyes, sliding down through my eyes into mine inward breast, stir up a most vehement burning in my marrow.”

Know, then, that men are most bewitched when, with often beholding, they direct the edge of their sight to the edge of the sight of those that bewitch them; and when their eyes are reciprocally intent one upon the other, and when rays are joined to rays and lights to lights, the spirit of the one is joined to the spirit of the other and fixeth its sparks.

Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535/1538)

So are strong ligations made, and so most vehement loves are inflamed with only the rays of the eyes; even with a certain sudden looking on, as if it were with a dart or stroke, penetrating the whole body, whence then the spirit and amorous blood, being thus wounded, are carried forth upon the lover and enchanter, no otherwise than the blood and spirit of the vengeance of him that is slain are upon him that slays him. Whence Lucretius sang concerning those amorous bewitchings:

The body smitten is, but yet the mind

Is wounded with the darts of Cupid blind.

All parts do Sympathize i’ th’ wound, but know

The blood appears in that which had the blow.*

* Again, in speaking of the power of Venus, the goddess of peace, over Mars, the god of war, he says:

On thy soft bosom he—
The warlike field who sways—almighty Mars,
Struck by triumphant Love’s eternal wound,
Reclines full frequent. With uplifted gaze
On thee he feeds his longing, lingering eyes.
And all his soul hangs quivering from thy lips.

So, great is the power of fascination, especially when the vapors of the eyes are subservient to the affection. Therefore witches use collyries, ointments, alligations, and such like, to affect and corroborate the spirit in this or that manner. To procure love they use venereal collyries, as hippomanes, the blood of doves, or sparrows, and such like. To induce fear, they use martial collyries, as of the eyes of wolves, the civet cat, and the like. To procure misery or sickness, they use Saturnine things, and so of the rest.

Modern Magicians Killed for Practicing Magic

Modern day magicians are a common thing here in America. They even get their own TV programs and multi-million dollar Las Vegas shows like Criss Angel where they can display their magic tricks to the people who flock to these performances just to see if they can be fooled. Most of them get their money’s worth.

Today in America, magic is the preferred method to manage our whole society. I guess what is good for the goose is good for the gander. A big magic trick, that works best at fooling people into government submission, rather than forcing them by burning them alive or cutting their heads off.

This current atmosphere of acceptance in the U.S. for magicians is actually a new phase in human history, because there was a time not long ago where anyone accused of practicing magic would be persecuted, tortured and killed. Many people do not know that there was a period in time where witch hunts in Europe and North America were a common practice during the 17th and 18th centuries and especially in American colonies such as Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Haven. About eighty people were accused of practising witchcraft in a witch-hunt that lasted throughout New England from 1648-1663. Thirteen women and two men were executed. The Salem witch trials followed in 1692–3, culminating in the executions of 19 people. It is said that tens of thousands of suspected magicians and or witches were killed during these dark times. (Wikipedia)

Fortunately, since we live in a society now operated by the Rule of Law and not the rule of the jungle or the mad mob with torches, these killings simply do not happen here in the states anymore. But let me please warn you, that if you plan to visit other countries and you are somewhat of a backyard magician, you better not bring your deck of magic cards or that lucky rabbit’s foot, because these same items will get you beheaded in countries like Saudi Arabia and burned by your fellow villagers in Africa.

In Kenya, the burning of magicians is a common occurrence. There are several viral videos on Youtube, of villagers burning people alive in front of the whole village as these killings are captured on a modern cell phone video camera. Here are a couple videos below that show this capital punishment. If you have a weak stomach or do not wish to see this horrific act, then I suggest you skip these videos and just take my word.

In this video below, 11 people were attacked and burned alive for being accused of witchcraft. Please keep in mind there are no judges or juries here. Just accusations and religious emotional fervor backed by very little evidence.

This video is also from Kenya, and it doesn’t look like these unfortunate people got a fair trial or one at all.

In the Atlantic today, there was a story about this very subject titled, “Saudi Arabia’s War on Witchcraft: A special unit of the religious police pursues magical crime aggressively, and the convicted face death sentences.”

The Saudi government’s obsession with the criminalization of the dark arts reached a new level in 2009, when it created and formalized a special “Anti-Witchcraft Unit” to educate the public about the evils of sorcery, investigate alleged witches, neutralize their cursed paraphernalia, and disarm their spells. Saudi citizens are also urged to use a hotline on the CPVPV website to report any magical misdeeds to local officials, according to the Jerusalem Post.

According to a director of the religious police’s witchcraft division in Riyadh, the unit provides confidentiality to informants. “We deal with sorcerers in a special way. No one should think that we mention the name of whomever files a report about sorcery,” Sheikh Adel Faqih told the Saudi Gazette. In 2009 alone, at least 118 people were charged with “practicing magic” or “using the book of Allah in a derogatory manner” in the province of Makkah, the country’s most populous region.

Faqih also claimed that the process of arresting someone for crimes of magic involved more than just receiving a tip from a neighbor or employer. A formal investigation would be pursued, and “information must be collected before an arrest can be made.” What sort of information do they need? The answer was unsurprisingly vague and innocuous: if the suspect sought to purchase “an animal with certain features.” For example, “he asks for a sheep to be killed without mentioning Allah’s name and asks to stain the body with the animal’s blood or if he asks for similar unusual things.”

By 2011, the unit had created a total of nine witchcraft-fighting bureaus in cities across the country, according to Arab News, and had “achieved remarkable success” in processing 586 cases of magical crime, the majority of which were foreign domestic workers from Africa and Indonesia. Then, last year, the government announced that it was expanding its battle against magic further, scapegoating witches as the source of both religious and social instability in the country. The move would mean new training courses for its agents, a more powerful infrastructural backbone capable of passing intelligence across provinces, and more raids. The force booked 215 sorcerers in 2012.

There are many countries such as Saudi Arabia and villages that still maintain draconian measures against any and all magicians or witch craft. Just imagine how this was a common practice not so long ago in Europe and America. Sometimes, George Bush’s New World Order under the Rule of Law doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea at all. Especially when much of the world operates under the rule of the jungle.

Fortunately here in the U.S., no one can top the hat of the king magicians behind the strings of the powers that be, which in turn makes our country one big magic trick from 1776 to only God knows when, or maybe just until the fat lady sings as she pulls down her veil from the eyes of the people who all seem to love a good magic show.
