The cross of life or the logos was used by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Jews. Their cross was modeled after the Egyptian Ankh or the Greek Tau. The letter Tau, Saint Bede had
written was the sign of salvation and of the cross. The Tau is represented by an uppercase Τ and is the 19th letter of the Greek alphabet. The Greek alphabet is derived from the Phoenicians who had represented it with the Phoenician letter taw. The tau is considered a symbol of salvation due to the identification of the tau being the sign that which in Ezekiel 9:4 was marked on the forehead of the saved ones (וְהִתְוִיתָ תָּו עַל־מִצְחֹות הָאֲנָשִׁים “set a mark (tav; after the Phoenician cross-shape on the forehead of the men”).
St. Mark informs us, “With the form of a serpent, He kills the serpent, for the serpent made out of the rod swallowed up the other serpents.” Jesus was crucified on the Christian Cross of Warfare on Friday, April 3, AD 33. “The power of the serpent of Egypt was broken on the cross.” That quote about the symbol and power of the serpent being broken on the cross was from the 1st century A.D. Christian apologist Justin Martyr, also known as Saint Justin ( c. 100 – 165 AD). St. Augustine tells us, that the image of Christ and his Cross was the new ensign of Christian Warfare that the Romans had carried before them; being the Ensign or Profession of their Warfare.
Many Christians are unaware of the fact that the Christian Cross is a symbol of Christian warfare. The cross is a symbol and war standard, and should not be worshipped or adored like an idol. The 7th-8th century Doctor of the Church and Father of English History, Saint Bede had explained, “A Cross of Silver, and the Image of our Saviour in a Picture. They bore a Cross for their Banner, Pro Vexillo: hon pro Adoratione, not for Adoration.” A Latin phrase meaning, “As standards: no honors for Adoration.”
Before the advent of Christianity, the Gnostic religion and brotherhood of the serpent (wisdom and health) had ruled the world for thousands of years. The religion of the serpent had originally come from the East in Ancient Greece, Crete and Egypt. It then moved West with the mass migrations of these tribes of the serpent into places such as America and England. It was here at this time, where the priesthood of the Druids, Saxon, Angles, Picts and various pagan Celtic tribes were dying for control of this land. It wasn’t until approximately in the 7th century A.D., when the cross had made its way into ancient England.
It was a time of war, bloodshed and lawlessness. Loyalty and peace were simply non-existent.
In order to bring peace to the region, a group of powerful ex-Druids of Italy, Gaul, Ireland, Britain, Scotland and Iona who were also known as Culdee Monks had made the decision to become Christians by joining the Celtic Druid Church with the Roman to create what we know today as the Catholic Church. The meaning of the name Catholic is universal and these monks were some of the true Doctors and Fathers of the Catholic Religion. (more…)

“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s but give to God what is God’s.” – Jesus
Did you know that up until the 20th century, the sheriffs in the United States of America were named after the Caesars and called, the “Great Seizer?” This is why a sheriff can carry out a judgment or Order of Seizure to seize assets such as your home and car for the banks and state, and then sell at an “Asset Seizure Auction;” or should I just say a “Caesar Sale?”
Since the time of two of the most venerated Roman Emperors, Julius and his son, Augustus; the Latin: Caesar, (plural: Caesares) has been held in high veneration by many of the royal families in some of the most powerful countries across the globe.
It is from the Latin name of Caesar that we get the Old English casere, and the Middle English name of keiser which would give us the root of German Kaiser and Russian Цезарь (tsezar’) and кесарь (kesar’) or tsar (see czar). The Russians have a saying, “kesaryu kesarevo” (to Caesar what is Caesar’s). Russia had used this title of Tsar of All Rus’, the Tsardom of Muscovy and Emperor of All Russia up to 1917. (more…)

(By Manly P. Hall) – The goat is both a phallic symbol and also an emblem of courage or aspiration because of its
surefootedness and ability to scale the loftiest peaks. To the alchemists the goat’s head was the symbol of sulphur.
The practice among the ancient Jews of choosing a scapegoat upon which to heap the sins of mankind is merely an allegorical depiction of the Sun Man who is the scapegoat of the world and upon whom are cast the sins of the twelve houses (tribes) of the celestial universe.
Truth is the Divine Lamb worshiped throughout pagandom and slain for the sins of the world, and since the dawn of time the Savior Gods of all religions have been personifications of this Truth. (more…)

In numerology, the number 22 is often called the Master Builder. The Phoenician-Hebrews possess 22 books, and their alphabet is made up of 22 letters, which was
created to compose the Word of God. The word of God is called a lamp (Psalms 119:105, Proverbs 6:22), and the light by which we are to live. The word light is found 264 times in Scripture. When 264 is divided by the perfect number 12 (the 12 planets in the heavens), we have twenty-two, which represents the light.
22 is also the Number of Revelation. In the 22 chapter gospel of John, he identifies himself as the Alpha and Omega which would be the first and last letters of the Greek Alphabet, Aleph and Tav. The Number 22 unites the entire body of Scripture and is also the numerical value for the Hebrew word Yachad, meaning unite. The word light is also repeated 22 times, and on the 22nd time, John quotes Jesus: “I have come as a light into the world . . .” (John 12:46). (more…)

A recent image of President Obama has been making quite a buzz on the internet over the last few days. Many people think
that these are symbolic devil’s horns above his head, and that this was done deliberately or may have a sinister meaning behind the horn symbology.
In this article I would like to explain a brief history of horn symbology and what it truly means. I’m not claiming that this image of the Commander and Chief of the U.S. was created for a sinister purpose, because the facts are no one can prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt. But since we live in a day and age where secret conspiracies seem to be somewhat the norm, for fun let’s explore a little science behind the symbology of the horns.
The horn symbology looks very much like what can be found inside our own skulls, where we can find in our brains what is called the hippocampus or ammon’s horn. I have written about this subject a few times in the past. In neuroanatomy, the ammon’s horn is a metaphor that relates to the gods and the brain. In ancient Egypt, the Ammon’s horn is the hidden creator, king of the gods, and the lord of the thrones of the world. Amun is ‘The hidden one.” Lord of the visible and the invisible worlds, he was the mysterious soul of the universe which reveals itself in light. In the bible, “The Amen, the true and faithful witness,” Rev. i. 14. (more…)

By Manly P. Hall – In its symbolism chess is the most significant of all games. It has been called “the royal game”–the
pastime of kings. Like the Tarot cards, the chessmen represent the elements of life and philosophy.
The game was played in India and China long before its introduction into Europe. East Indian princes were wont to sit on the balconies of their palaces and play chess with living men standing upon a checkerboard pavement of black and white marble in the courtyard below. It is popularly believed that the Egyptian Pharaohs played chess, but an examination of their sculpture and illuminations has led to the conclusion that the Egyptian game was a form of draughts. In China, chessmen are often carved to represent warring dynasties, as the Manchu and the Ming. (more…)
