When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too

“This is why alchemy exists,” the boy said. “So that everyone will search for his treasure, find it, and then want to be better than he was Symbols - alchemy is lifein his former life. Lead will play its role until the world has no further need for lead; and then lead will have to turn itself into gold. That’s what alchemists do. They show that, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too.”

~ Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Alchemy and Its Exponents | Chapter 33

Here is an explanation of alchemy from the Secret Teachings of All Ages by 33rd Degree Freemason, Manly P. Hall. Alchemy and Its Exponents | Chapter 33 – by Manly P. Hall

Is the transmutation of base metals into gold possible? Is the idea one at which the learned of the modern world can afford to scoff? Alchemy was more than a speculative art: it was also an operative art. Since the time of the immortal Hermes, alchemists have asserted (and not without substantiating evidence) that they could manufacture gold from tin, silver, lead, and mercury.

That the galaxy of brilliant philosophic and scientific minds who, over a period of two thousand years, affirmed the actuality of metallic transmutation and multiplication, could be completely sane and rational on all other problems of philosophy and science, yet hopelessly mistaken on this one point, is untenable. Nor is it reasonable that the hundreds declaring to have seen and performed transmutations of metals could all have been dupes, imbeciles, or liars. (more…)

Everything is energy in the form of positive, negative and neutral

“Everything is energy in the form of positive, negative and neutral. No two souls alike'

The thoughts we think, the words we talk and the paths we walk effect everything that we do in life.

Therefor we must carefully watch our thoughts, words, visions, actions, people and our environments.

What we think, see, act and who we surround ourselves with, we will become one with this energy field.” – Moe the Gnostic Warrior

Idiots have very little phosphorus; shrewd thinkers have much

In the quote below, Rosicrucian master, Max Heindel discusses the importance of the alchemical element known as Brain firing 3phosphorus to the initiate. He says that phosphorus is peculiar to the brain alone and that idiots have very little phosphorus; shrewd thinkers have much; and in the animal world, the degree of consciousness and intelligence is in proportion to the amount of phosphorus contained in the brain.

As I have written in previous articles, phosphorus is the Alpha and Omega of the Scripture and the Greek word for the Latin archangel known as Lucifer who is the light bearer. We also know of phosphorus in the mysteries as the philosophers stone, which is the most important alchemical element for the lovers of wisdom. (more…)

Squaring the Circle By Carl Jung

In this quote below, Swiss Gnostic, Cal Jung talks about how the problem of squaring the circle represents unity represented by a circle Philosphers-Stoneand the four elements by a square. The goal of the Gnostic through alchemy is to become the “One” by means of distillations so that the “soul” or “spirit” shall be extracted in its purest state.

This is the path of the Great Work. The key to the philosopher’s stone.

Jung had said, “Squaring the circle was a problem that greatly exercised medieval minds. It is a symbol of the opus alchymicum, since it breaks down the original chaotic unity into the four elements and then combines them again in a higher unity. (more…)
