Before gods, goddesses, demons and nocturnal monsters of the netherworld were depicted as
humans, they were almost always shown in some type of animal form. This ancient network of immortal symbolism we can witness today with one of these secret deities that has been depicted throughout the course of human history as the bird of night, known as the owl.
The symbology of the owl has almost always represented evil omens, demons, illness, disease and death to many interrelated ancient cultures such as the Hittites, Sumerians, Egyptians, Ethiopians, Africans, Phoenicians (Hebrews), Greeks, Romans, Europeans, Arabs, Hindus, Indians and Latinos. A nocturnal bird of prey that to them was not a symbol of wisdom, but the creature who disturbs their sleep and is the “angel of death.” (more…)

In Old Prussia there was a mythical dragon king named Warmo who had ruled over his worm
people called the Warmians.
The dragon tribe of the Warmians (also Warmi) had lived in a place called Warmia (Polish:Warmia, Latin: Varmia, German: Ermland, Lithuanian: Varmė). They were one of ten Old Prussian tribes who had populated these regions that were documented in the Chronicon terrae Prussiae of Peter of Dusburg, a priest of the Teutonic Order in 1326. The Warmians territory was mostly contained in modern day Poland situated between the Vistula Lagoon, Łyna and Pasłęka Rivers.

The Ammon is the Abraxas, and place of Sophia (wisdom); to the Gnostics, Christos (or Gnosis), and the Third Eye to many people today
who may be considered New Age. The Ammon’s Horn is also known in science as our hippocampus located in a section of our brains that we access the hidden supreme power deep within the DNA of each one of us to obtain gnosis, intuition, wisdom, and to relearn from our past lives.
Third eye activation to enlightenment and gnosis here we come…
The subject of the third eye is a favorite topic amongst many modern researchers, and authors like myself. When studying the history of any topic, my path is one in which I try to utilize science and real world descriptions in order to attempt to make actual connections between the subject I’m researching and with scientific research. The many times I have employed this method, I have been able to make sense of some of these terms like the third eye, ancient myths, and/or religious allegories. (more…)

By Manly P. Hall – The Hiramic legend may be considered to embody the vicissitudes of philosophy itself. As institutions for
the dissemination of ethical culture, the pagan Mysteries were the architects of civilization. Their power and dignity were personified in CHiram Abiff–the Master Builder–but they eventually fell a victim to the onslaughts of that recurrent trio of state, church, and mob.
They were desecrated by the state, jealous of their wealth and power; by the early church, fearful of their wisdom; and by the rabble or soldiery incited by both state and church. As CHiram when raised from his grave whispers the Master Mason’s Word which was lost through his untimely death, so according to the tenets of philosophy the reestablishment or resurrection of the ancient Mysteries will result in the rediscovery of that secret teaching without which civilization must continue in a state of spiritual confusion and uncertainty. Today, many Jews wear boxes tied to their heads and arms, containing Torah (bible) verses and worn when praying. That which is called a
tefillin by the Jews, and a phylactery by the ancient Greeks. This article will expose the hidden clues to the true origins and meaning of the tefillin or phylactery.
The Torah commands that they should be worn on the head and left arm by the Jews during the time of prayer and sacred meditation, to serve as a “sign” and “remembrance” that God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt. On the outside of the tefillin to the right are the regular three-pronged letter shin, and on the left side is the same letter consisting of four prongs which are an abbreviation for the Hebrew Shadai, the Almighty. They are normally made an inch and a half square, and have long leather straps attached to them, with which they are fastened to the head and arm. (more…)
